Answers to All Your Questions

Why CRINC?

Through its primary focus on processing used beverage containers, CRINC has established efficiencies that allow it to provide a cost-effective alternative to distributors, thereby allowing the distributors to focus their expertise on the revenue generating area of their business.

Where does CRINC pick up deposit containers?

CRINC travels to all 99 Iowa counties weekly and picks up from reverse vending machines, redemption centers and dealers.

How often will I be billed and what will each bill consist of?

You will receive an invoice and statement every Monday that shows containers billed for the previous week. We request that you pay on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. The invoice will include the total amount of containers we picked up, the deposit amount, retailer handling fee, processing fee and total amount due. The statement will show you how many containers were picked up at each specific dealer location.

What information do I need to set up a service agreement?

The distributor would need to provide CRINC with a list of all your products and any information you have about your containers (size, material type, color), a list of all your container UPC codes, a list of counties you want us to provide pick up services in and your full company name, billing address, phone number and billing email address. After CRINC receives this information, we will provide a service fee that will be included in the service agreement to pick up the distributor’s containers.

What service does CRINC provide?

CRINC is a transportation and logistics company that has been supporting beverage distributors in the state of Iowa for over 30 years.  CRINC maintains a staff of over 35 full-time employees to provide collection and processing of used beverage containers coming from all 99 counties in the state of Iowa. CRINC’s administrative staff is an experienced one with a thorough understanding of the issues facing beverage distributors being impacted by the Iowa Container Deposit Law.

CRINC’s business model not only provides distributors a one stop solution for their redemption needs but also has the flexibility to modify services per the unique requirements of the individual distributor.  In its full capacity CRINC can collect and process containers (including auditing), manage and complete retail level financial transactions, and handle all customer service-related tasks.

Does CRINC accept containers from the public?

CRINC does not accept containers from the public.  We do offer redemption services to the public through our DROPPETT program, visit www.droppett.com for more information and to sign up for an account.
